Four Stars

Kate Meader knows how to hit all the spots for me! I just loved this love story so much! Abby Sullivan and Roman Rossi were so likeable and I loved seeing the Dempsey's back! They are one of my favorite book families. 

Abby is a rookie, a female firefighter. She carries alot of family history with her. Her mom was one of the first female fire fighters and passed away when she was 6.  Her father is the fire chief commissioner and is not happy that she is following in the family foot steps. To top that off, her LT. is Roman, the same guy she met at the diner and they hit it off, with the promise of a follow up phone call. Things are complicated...

I have to say that I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one in the series. The storyline was interesting, sweet and satisfying

I started reading this book awhile ago and had to stop.  Life interfered. I finally had a chance to revisit it and really enjoyed it. I really liked Maddie Webster and Harrison Archer. I loved their friendship and thought it was a great background to their relationship. I have to say that Harrison really made of mess of his intentions and his high handedness was not always great.  I couldn´t understand why Maddie wouldn´t just accept her feelings for him since they had so much shared history.  The part where she asks him for a separation was so raw and emotional it made the story a four star for me.  The secondary characters are so fun and I can´t wait to read their stories.  Granted I am a huge Joanna Shupe fan, so I am more than happy to read her writing.  The audio book was narrated by Justine Eyre and I enjoyed her telling of the story.

So sweet and beautiful.

This was a mixture of shared thoughts and permission to be a real human searching with love.

I loved Drew since I read "Little girl Lost" and I just loved this vulnerable and caring audiobook.
