When I started "On the Edge of Sunrise" by Cynthia Ripley Miller I was instantly engrossed in the story and captivated by the characters. Arria was a worthy heroine and one that I liked instantly and was interested to see how her story would progress. First, Arria was a great heroine. I loved her courage and strength when she had to come face to face with the difficult choices ahead of her. Garic was her equal as a hero. He was a perfect match and at times adversary for Arria. The time period was intriguing. The historical time period of the Huns and at the same time the conflicts with the church sparked a great backdrop to the already existing tension between Arria and Garic. Miller's pacing of the story was fantastic, she transitioned with ease and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next, how the heroes would come together. I definitely had book hangover after reading this story but luckily it is the first in series. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series and highly recommend this story of love and adventure.
